Ches Cullens is entering his second season with the Bulldogs as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Cullens spent the previous five years as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Thomas Jefferson Academy. Before his time at TJA, Cullens served as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Jeff Davis High School for two years. Before working at the high school level, he served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of West Georgia for two years. Before becoming an assistant strength and conditioning coach at UWG, Cullens interned for one year with Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning at the University of Georgia. Before interning at UGA, he served as an intern for Valdosta State University’s Speed, Strength, and Conditioning Program. Cullens has a Master’s in Kinesiology: Strength, Conditioning, and Fitness from the University of Georgia. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education from Valdosta State University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Cullens is certified by USA Weightlifting as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. Coach Cullens is married to Katie Cullens, and they have two sons, Beau and Luke. The Cullens Family currently resides in Warthen, Georgia.
