Cross Country Competes at the GCSU Bobcat Invitational

It was a great night of racing for GMC Cross Country at the brand new GCSU cross country course.

The Women's team finished in 11th place, the best JC team in the race. Caroline Bland continued her strong season, running her third qualifying time of the season and finishing in 68th place, the best among junior college runners in the women's field.  Ellie Glover and Jessica Zukowsky finished in 89th and 90th, respectively, and both qualified for the NJCAA National Championships. Kate Bouska and Katy Smith both had very strong races and helped round out the scoring.

The Men's team finished 12th and was the best Junior College Team in the field. Theodore Stevens and Jameson O'Hara led the way as they were the first two junior college runners to cross the line, and ran fast enough to qualify for the NJCAA National Championship. Raderian Martin (98th),  Jonathan Vazapphilly (110th), and Thomas Chew (111th) rounded out the scoring runners for GMC.
